The Newmire Vanadium Mill Site is a former historic and abandoned 5-acre uranium mill site near Telluride, Colorado. I was the Engineer of Record and Project Manager for the development of reclamation designs for uranium mine tailings removal and disposal.  This work included MARSSIM survey characterization that identified areas and estimated concentrations of radioactive contaminants as well as lead, arsenic and vanadium.
